Laparoscopic cholecystectomy performed by general surgery residents. Is it safe? How much does it cost?

ABSTRACT Objective: to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of laparoscopic cholecystectomies performed by residents first second-year a general surgery residency program. We studied primary total cost treatment complication rates as outcomes, comparing groups operated senior resident surgeons.
